C.A.R.E. Group of Ohio, Inc. is a dedicated no-kill rescue shelter with a mission taken from the Bible in Genesis 1: 28, where God instructed us to have dominion over all the animals. That means we must care for them as well. We strive to prevent euthanasia, advocate for responsible pet ownership, and work to bridge the gap between high-risk shelters and loving forever homes. For those who cannot find appropriate forever homes, we provide a safe and loving environment for them to live out their natural lives in peace.

Johnnie
Johnnie was abandoned by his owner when they decided to move out of the country when Trump was elected president. Johnnie was with them from the time he was a puppy. Now he is totally blind and wanders around the house sniffing everything. He is sweet and lovable, and will be safe here for the rest of his life
Lady
A senior cat whose guardian passed away; a gentle lap cat in search of a quiet home.
Sophie
A vizsla mix who was found wandering in the middle of the road. with no collar or tags. Weeks of searching found no owner. Shw is now our shelter mascot.
